| Our mission is to honor
and glorify God as an extension of the preschool ministry of First
Baptist Church, Smyrna by providing quality Christian care and support
for families as we share the love of Christ in a safe and loving
environment where children grow spiritually, mentallly, physically,

About us . . .
For thirty years, the First Baptist Church, Smyrna, Weekday Early Education Ministry has served the community by providing quality care and education in a safe and loving Christian environment. Our ministry offers a two day program for Infants through four year olds and a four day Pre-K program for four and five year olds. The program, licensed by the State of Tennessee
Department of Human Services, has a well-trained staff experienced in
early childhood education. It is our goal to enhance and nurture the
development of each child spiritually, emotionally, physically,
intellectually, and socially.
The program operates from 9:00am until 2:00pm Monday-Thursday through the school year. The Creative Learning Center
maintains an open door policy to all parents of children enrolled in
the program. Others are welcome to tour the facility by appointment.

Health Policy . . .
The
Center is not equipped or staffed to provide care for sick children.
You must keep your child at home if he is ill. In order to provide the
healthiest environment possible, the Creative Learning Center has
established the following policy. Regardless of what is causing the
symptoms, children must be excluded from the program if they have a
fever (higher than 100 degrees), vomiting, or diarrhea. They must be
picked up within the hour after you have been notified. They must have
been free of fever, vomiting, or diarrhea for 24 hours without the aid
of fever reducing medication. |
