Creative Learning Center -- Important Information  State Licensed Program We are proud to be a Three Star center. The Creative Learning Center of First Baptist Church, Smyrna is licensed by the State of Tennessee Department of Human Services.  We follow many rigorous health, safety and curriculum policies to uphold our high standards for preschool children and to earn our Three Star rating.

Preschool Curriculum Each class is designed to meet the developmental needs of every child - infant through five years old. Three, Four and Five year old children are evaluated twice a year.  Our theme based curriculum is developed with the whole child in mind.   Each child is encouraged to develop emotionally, socially, intellectually, physically, and spiritually.  Music, Movement, and Chapel are also an addition to older children's programming.  Our Four and Five year old curriculum uses the Rutherford County Schools Kindergarten Entrance Expectations as a guide.  Exceptional Staff At the Creative Learning Center, you will find qualified staff who will also love and nurture your child. Our teachers receive ongoing training in areas of early childhood, health and safety.

Ages of Children Served

All Ages as of September 30 Infants: 6 weeks to 12 months Young Toddlers: 13 months to 18 months Older Toddlers: 19 months to 23 months Two Years Old:  2 years by September 30 Three- Year Olds: 3 years by Sept 30 Four- Year Olds: 4 years by Sept 30 (we have a two day or four day program for four year olds). Pre-K - is intended for repeating 4-year olds with a recommendation from their teacher or parent and for children who are 5 by December 31st of the current school year.
