Safe Harbor is a Christ centered support group ministry led by trained facilitators who are non-professionals reaching out to find hope, help, and healing for those in need.

6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Orientation for new classes begins January 12 and classes begin January 19.
You can join one of our groups if you:
- Desire to stop dysfunctional behavior
- Are open and honest with others
- Respect confidentiality and anonymity of fellow members
These groups meet in order to support each other in sharing a common experience:
- Identify together in like struggles
- Learn about life and relationships
- Grow in the ability to trust God and become all He created us to be
Select the group that best meets your needs. Join that group to learn how to trust others, affirm others, and allow the Holy Spirit to bring healing and renewal to your life.

1. RECOVERING FROM THE LOSSES OF LIFE
Understand, work through, and take positive steps toward recovering from various losses in life. Gives you the tools to make Christ-honoring decisions.
2. MAKING PEACE WITH YOUR PAST
Leads you through a 12-unit study that provides practical guidance to help identify feelings and problems related to childhood experiences. Daily individual study of the text in small group setting will help you make peace with yourself and with your past.
3. MOVING BEYOND YOUR PAST
Guides participants to move beyond the hurts of the past into joyful and productive day-to-day living. ("Making Peace with Your Past" is a prerequisite for this class).
4. DIVORCE CARE
Coming to terms with divorce. You will be a part of a group who understands what you are experiencing and help you learn how to deal with the pain of divorce and look forward to rebuilding your life.
5. CONQUERING CO-DEPENDENCY
A Christ-centered 12-step program that helps individuals to recognize destructive patterns such as the compulsion to fix, rescue, control or enable.
6. SEARCH FOR SIGNIFICANCE
Building your self worth on the unconditional love of Christ and learning your true worth as the child of the Father.
7. SHELTER FROM THE STORM
Sexual abuse survivors reclaim trust, intimacy and identity on their journey to recovery.
8. DIVORCE HELP FOR TEENS
This class offers teens help in coping with their parent's divorce. Cost: Book price.
9. JOURNEY TO FREEDOM
An 8 week group study on how to change. Developed by the YMCA's Restore Ministries, the program leads you on an inspiring and hope-filled path toward your life in spirit, mind, and body. Financial assistance available. Book included in fee. Cost $65.
